A person with an intellectual disability, or their parents, spouse, siblings living in the same household, or relatives who have been verified to provide care and protection, all of whom are Nepali citizens, may be granted ordinary membership by the decision of the executive committee. A person desiring to obtain ordinary membership can do so by submitting an application as per the prescribed procedure and paying an entry fee of NPR 125. The membership will be granted based on the decision of the executive committee. Such ordinary members are required to pay an annual renewal fee of NPR 25.
Founding members are required to obtain ordinary or lifelong membership and pay the fees as per the constitution. The office bearers of the ad hoc committee at the time of the organization's registration will be considered founding members. Founding members can obtain ordinary or lifelong membership by paying the fees as mentioned in the constitution.
Individuals who make a special contribution to the development of the organization can obtain lifelong membership by completing the prescribed process. The executive committee may grant lifelong membership to individuals who apply through the prescribed process and pay a lump sum of NPR 1,000.
Honorary membership of the organization may be granted to distinguished social workers and prominent Nepali citizens deemed appropriate. However, honorary members will not have voting rights.
